JEWISH CHOCOLATE CAKE
Ingredients:
5 oz self raising flour
6 oz sugar
6 oz soft margarine
3 oz drinking chocolate or 2 oz of cocoa
3 large eggs
3 tablespoons boiling water
Method:
Mix together all ingredients
Beat well for 2 minutes
Pour into 8” round OR 2 lb loaf tin
Bake in centre of oven
Bake at gas mark 4, 180°c or 360°f for 1 hour (round tin) or approx 40 mins (loaf tin)
Leave the cake in the tin for 5 minutes before turning out
